American River Parkway Foundation Financial Stewards

Great American River Clean Up

The ARPF Adopt-the-Parkway program was founded in 1993. It allows people to have a close, personal stake in the well-being of the Parkway. Individuals, businesses, and organizations adopt a mile of the Parkway as either a financial sponsor or volunteer steward.

Financial sponsors make a two-year commitment to contribute $1500 per year. This contribution covers the hard costs of the Adopt the Parkway program: volunteer coordination, tools, and supplies. Sponsors and stewards are recognized on a Parkway sign located along the paved trail of "their" mile.

For more information about becoming a financial steward please contact Dianna Poggetto, Executive Director ARPF at (916) 486-2773, or send her an email.
