The
ARPF Foundation provides grants to organizations, clubs, and others engaged in
parkway preservation. The majority of the Foundation grants are awarded
through a two-step competitive process: a Letter of Inquiry, and a grantee
interview. Our average grant
is between $5,000-$15,000.
The
American River Parkway Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients for this
year’s grant funding:Cottage Housing.
Youth will be exposed to the outdoors through a program entitled Project
WILD. The youth already take part in the Foundation’s steward program and
will now expand their role with phase 2 of the
redevelopment of Tiscornia Park.
Soil Born Farms.
To connect the Parkway with the Farm through new trails and signage. Also
will develop a seedling collection program.County of Sacramento.
New signs for "Kids Don't Float"
County of Sacramento.
Purchase two mountain bikes for Ranger Patrol through the lower reaches of
the Parkway.
