The
ARPF Foundation provides grants to organizations, clubs, and others engaged in
parkway preservation. The majority of the Foundation grants are awarded
through a two-step competitive process: a Letter of Inquiry, and a grantee
interview. Our average grant
is between $5,000-$15,000.
The
American River Parkway Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients for this
year’s grant funding:
American Red Cross
Marketing and outreach for canoe safety, instruction and instructor training
Pollinator Partnership
Removal of invasive plants under the power lines around Mile 5-6. Natives
will be planted to encourage nesting of bees and other pollinators
Save the American River Association
For the Grassroots Working Group to enter into an
agreement with the Trust for Public Land on creating a study for a new
independent parks district .
