 The ARPF
cares for the 23 miles, and about 5,000 acres of the American River's foreshore
between the Nimbus Fish Hatchery and the confluence with the Sacramento River.
The ARPF Volunteer Center (pictured above) is located in Carmichael, just
before the entrance to the William B. Pond Recreation Area. The address

Hours. The Volunteer Center is open to
the public
Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm (PT).
Parking. We have a small parking
lot at the facility. Street parking is
also available. Free parking is
available for volunteers on work days.
